Privacy policy
How this website handles your information. Last updated 13 October 2026.
This website is run by the practice of Dr. D.P. Shukla, G4, Tirupati Balaji Complex, opposite Alok School, near R Kay Mall, Panchwati, Udaipur, Rajasthan 313001, India (“we”). This policy covers drdpshukla.com. The blog at blog.drdpshukla.com and krishnatobuddha.com are separate sites with their own policies.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us through the booking and contact forms:
- Booking form: your name, email, phone number, the consultation you are interested in, your preferred date, time of day and format, how you would like to be contacted, and anything you write in the message box.
- Contact form: your name, email, optional phone number, a subject and your message.
- With either form, your browser’s time zone (so a time can be suggested in your zone) and technical details needed to stop spam, such as how long the form took to fill in.
Please do not send health records or other sensitive documents through the forms. If something is relevant to your session, you can discuss it with Dr. Shukla directly.
How we use it
Only to arrange your consultation or answer your message: to contact you, confirm a time and prepare for the session. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it goes
When you send a form, your details are saved in the practice’s booking system, a secure database used only for this website, so the team can arrange your consultation. Only people working for the practice can see them, through a password-protected admin area. The practice is also told about your request by email, through an email delivery service. We may also email you a copy of your request with its reference number.
Our hosting, database and email providers process the information on our behalf and may process it outside India.
Your IP address is used briefly, in memory, to limit repeated submissions and is not stored. The practice keeps your details only for as long as it needs them to arrange and provide your consultation and to meet legal obligations. Records the practice deletes are removed permanently within 30 days.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited and which links are used, such as the booking, phone and WhatsApp buttons. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser. We never send your name, email, phone number or messages to Google Analytics. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with Google’s opt-out add-on without affecting the rest of the site.
The map on the contact page is provided by Google and loads only if you choose to show it; Google may then set its own cookies. Videos and photos on this site are hosted by us and do not load third-party trackers.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you have sent us, or withdraw your consent, by writing to [email protected]. Depending on where you live, data-protection laws such as India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 or the GDPR may give you further rights, including the right to complain to a regulator.
Children
Consultations are intended for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us on your behalf.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
